- Remove ALL excess loose threads and pins.
- Check for weak seams as this can cause the machine to rip your quilt if caught.
- Selvage edge of fabric should be removed from seams on backing. The selvage edge will shrink differently when laundered causing puckering later at the seam line.
- Please press your quilt top and backing. Bulking seams can cause lumps or break a needle when quilting your quilt.
- Square all corners. Indicate the head of the quilt by pinning a piece of paper to the top.
- Have backing and batting (if you are supplying) cut at least 4” wider and 4” longer than your quilt top.
- Binding: If you want me to prepare (iron/fold) make sure you have it all sewn together.
- Payment is due at the time of pickup or return shipment.
